Bridge

Prince Edward Island
Before we bid farewell to the fantastic PEI there was one last stop.
Just before we crossed the hugely impressive Confederation Bridge we dropped down into the Marine/Rail Historical Park at Port Borden. The Port Borden Range Rear Lighthouse is a lovely light sat in the park grounds. This really is a must see spot if you do visit PEI, if only for the amazing views of the bridge.

Nearby is the  Port Borden Pier Lighthouse but it's located on a working pier which is closed to the public so not accessible. Although we did get a view of it from the third  lighthouse in this area, and the final lighthouse of our trip.

Offering views of all three lighthouses, and a different vantage point of the Confederation Bridge is the Port Borden Range Front Lighthouse - This was at the end of a short track between some houses and was easy enough to find. And given the huge variety of lighthouses we've seen on this trip it was nice to finish on a small, almost humble lighthouse.

After crossing the bridge from PEI it was a very easy drive to Halifax International Airport, and we were on our way home.

There is a fabulous time to be had in Eastern Canada.
We enjoyed the three very different cities of Toronto, Montreal and Quebec, and our time exploring Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island was everything we'd planned and dreamed of, and so much more.
We can't wait to come back and are already planning for the next trip.x
